Practice flying

After being delayed due to weather, I was able to get up in the air for 5 landings, solo, today. The winds were out of the North around 4 kts, which was excellent for my first time in the pattern without my instructor watching me from the ground.

I decided to use 10 degrees of flaps, put in on the base leg, for all landings except the last one which was a flaps up landing. The landings were good except for #4 which had a little bounce in it. I thought I was sinking a little too quick just before touch down, so I put in just a little power. It was a soft bounce, but a bounce none the less. But, a pretty uneventful flight today.

Next time I am going up with my instructor to the practice area and then I will have to make this trip solo, as well.
