What a nice day to fly. Did the usual preflight, taxi, climbout then went East of the airport since P-40 was 10nm and would have covered part of my practice area.
My instructor had me do slow flight around 55kts with the flaps retracted and around 50 with the flaps down. We did some climbs and descents and turns in these configurations. Then, we tracked the VOR back to the airport. EMI radial 357 and FDK radial 064 crosses over the field so he showed me this.
Next time, we are doing minimum controlled airspeed with turns at 20 and 30 degrees with climbs and descents. Should be interesting.
