Pat's 2007 Sport Trac Project How to remove factory crossbars

Remove only the rear plastic pieces in order to slide the crossbars off.


I used needle nose pliers to get under the base of this clip.

You can also use a flat "wire crimper" to get under the base.




Insert yellow plastic clip into crossbar skull cap.
